My daughter, Ecstacy, was diagnosed in June 2021 with Type 1 Diabetes, and at that moment, I knew I had to take a deep breath and just get through it. However, I didn’t realize that this wasn’t just a battle; it was war itself. Every day is a new learning experience for Ecstacy and me. It’s a rollercoaster full of surprises. Due to that, our family fell into financial hardship, but with the help of the Give Hope Foundation, we are getting past this. It has allowed me more time to continue caring for her and gives me extra time to find a good-paying job to get us back on our feet.
