The top three types of assistance include: 1) rent and mortgage payments 2) travel expenses and gas 3) uncovered medical expenses and co-pays
The level of assistance is based, in part, on the family's income. However, it is mainly based on the type and length of treatment. After submitting your application, your Family Navigator will contact you to determine the level of assistance based on your child's and family's individual circumstances and needs.
Give Hope provides financial support for a range of costs regardless of the illness or diagnosis. Regardless of the specific illness, our goal is to be a source of hope and support so families can focus on their child and not on lost income or additional expenses.
Complete an application with our secure online form or do so by printing and faxing an application to (775) 624-6154. Our family navigator will follow-up with you via phone or email; a doctor’s diagnosis, in writing, is required prior to the review of the application.
Give Hope will ask for a copy of the bill or invoice that is agreed will be paid and we submit financial assistance directly to the payee (i.e. mortgage company, doctor’s office, etc.). In some cases, Give Hope will provide reimbursement for an expense; all reimbursement requests will require the original receipt in order to be eligible for reimbursement.
